A licensed therapist who is considered “first responder approved,” Lexi has her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and has been working as a therapist for 3 years. Lexi completes monthly ride-alongs with various departments as on-going training and professional development. Lexi also participates in supporting the North Area Peer Support Team which includes 12 fire departments and ambulance companies that serve the North Area of Colorado. As part of the Building Warriors team, Lexi plays a supporting role in trainings throughout the state and is part of the private practice in Lakewood, CO.

Lexi has a passion for Improv comedy and volleyball. She believes that laughter is truly the best medicine and likes to incorporate humor in her counseling approach. Lexi has experience in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and believes it’s important to take an integrated and person-centered approach to counseling in order to create a simple and clear path towards your goals. Lexi works to learn the culture of first responders and their families, in order to better understand the ripple effects of the work. She also understands the importance of confidentiality and strives to provide a safe and comfortable space to do the work.
