Dr. Genovia Holmes’ experience involves treating diverse clients with emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties- including trauma. Dr. Holmes is a Post-Doctoral Fellow providing therapy and assessment services under the supervision and direction of Dr. Jones and Dr. Scott to fulfill requirements set forth by the state of Texas to obtain independent licensure as a Licensed Psychologist.   Dr. Holmes earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Chicago (ISPP), in September of 2016. She obtained her Master of Art in Clinical Psychology in December 2012, also from ISPP, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Prairie View A&M University in May of 2008.

 Although her emphasis has been working with youth, she has also been trained in accordance with the generalist model and therefore has the experience and skillset to work with clients across the lifespan. Throughout her training experience, Dr. Holmes has worked with a diverse group of children, adolescents, and their families providing individual, family, and group therapies, along with evaluations, in a variety of settings.
